Hey everyone!
Despite appearances (or lack there of), I am alive. I've been drawing, too, just not finishing things. You can see some of my sketches in scraps if you're curious.
What I need is your help and knowledge about scanners. I have a three-in-one printer, Scanner, but as most of us are well aware, the scanning quality on those is very very poor, and not only that, but the scanner bed is extremely small. I like to draw on larger paper (my current sketchbook is 11"x14." Ideally, I would like a scanner that's a little bigger than that, and one that scans WELL. I've heard Epson and HP are the best, but I'd like your opinions. In the past, I've used the large scanner at my university to scan in my art, and it did a pretty decent job of it. I'm at a new university now, and unfortunately they don't provide the service.
Part of the reason I've been so inactive is because I just feel discouraged when I know I can't properly scan my pictures, or because I force myself to draw on smaller paper, which doesn't really allow me to experiment much with more complicated background etc.
If anyone could give me some advice in this area it would be GREATLY appreciated.
Also-- commissions are open! Please take a look! They are cheap and I've got more time now that I've written my prospectus. D:
