Danni's prize for being the winner of my contest...last summer. SO sorry about the long wait on this. It isn't that I wasn't working on your prizes, because I was, but that I kept beating myself up over not being able to draw a picture that was half interesting. I hope you like this! I tried very hard to do poses that were different than what I usually do, which hopefully did not end in a lower quality drawing- I can't really decide myself.
The background is kind of an interesting story. o.o I originally intended it to be a plain forest scene using my non-existent water colour skills, but got frustrated becaue it seemed so predictable and dull and then started thinking of The Black Rider by Tom Waits and started writing the lyrics to one of the songs on the branches. Previous to this I had already angrily mauled the trees and lower corner. Then I put on the actual CD to listen to and just...drew weird things all over the picture that popped into my head.
I hope it is still enjoyed! I like it much better with the odd background, to be honest, and the lyrics fit the characters a little bit too (from what I know of them, which is not much).
